Employment Nondiscrimination Policy

Equal opportunity in employment is one of the most important values in the United States. It allows workers and their families to have a level playing field to reach their goals. It also allows everyone to contribute to the economy of our country. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) plays a vital role in protecting workers’ rights and eliminating discrimination.

No applicant for employment at The Pain Treatment Center of the Bluegrass will be denied equal opportunity because of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy, status as a parent, national origin, age, disability (physical or mental), family medical history or genetic information, political affiliation, military service or other non-merit based factors. These protections extend to all management practices and decisions, including recruitment and hiring practices, appraisal systems, promotions, training and career development programs.
